| i just feel like writing... i think it's because i'm watching Elizabethtown and it always gets me in the thinking/writing mood. i love my life. have i ever mentioned how amazing my family is? i think i must have one of the best families- ever. tonight we went to dinner for father's day and i was sitting there and looking around at my family and just couldn't stop smiling. each one of them- my parents, my sisters, my brothers in law, and my niece Jessalyn.. they are all such good people, and all such an important part of my life. on the topic of family and the fact that it's father's day tomorrow, my dad is one amazing guy. I am, i think, the definition of "daddy's girl." always have been, and i hope i always will be. He is the best daddy, Godly man, music teacher, the list could go on. As I said, I've always been a daddy's girl. Growing up, I had a spot on his lap while he was in his chair I would sit in. I have gotten much bigger, but I still go and sit in that same spot while he is in his chair. I have one of those rare relationships with him- where we can actually talk about stuff, deep stuff. I have gotten my best advice in my life from my daddy- from style, to boys, to God. I know he won't read this but I love you, daddy and Happy Father's Day tomorrow! so this summer has been an interesting one. I have never worked so much in my life. I mean, i've had a lot of jobs but none have ever been so demanding. I enjoy it, i do, but it's also very wearing on my body and my mind. Most of the time I am with either 5 or 6 year olds. I have actually questioned becoming a teacher. Yes, that's right- I, Sarah Kay, questioned becoming a teacher- my dream job. I'm not questioning it anymore really. It has actually made me kind of excited about it now. I mean, I can't wait to have my own classroom and able to make my own schedule and plans for my kids. And most of all, I can't wait to make a difference in those childrens lives. I want so badly to be that teacher that when later asked who their most memorable teacher was, or the teacher that taught them something more than just the school stuff- i want to be the first one that comes to mind. You know, I should think about it like that now with the kids i'm working with now, thinking about how I can make a difference in their lives. oh, and just to let you know, i had a really good weekend. i went to denton and saw Jonny. It was his birthday weekend from me. It was great. I just really enjoy spending time with him. Tomorrow is our official 2 months. i know I'm being all corny but whatever. I like him, alot. :) exciting news- i'm going to San Antonio next weekend with Amanda and some friends. oh man- i AM excited!!
okay now that I talked a whole lot- here's some pictures :)

that's an old picture, but i love it. i love laughter.

giraffes!
ugh, it won't let me upload any more pictures for some reason.. but imagine a picture of me and my daddy and then one of me and jessalyn :)

| wow, it's been a really long time. my summer's going okay. i'm working my butt off and taking summer school... and that's pretty much all it is so far. I've seen friends here and there and that is great- but i hope to see more soon, i've been anti-social cause i'm exhausted at the end of every work day.
A couple weeks ago, Jonny came here and we went to the zoo and saw The Da Vinci Code and then that weekend his brother got married so I went there and went to all the wedding stuff...

other than that, there hasn't been much. i've been hanging out with my family lately alot- it's good to have alot of time with them, especially the love of my life- Jessalyn...
oh- and jonny's birthday is on Sunday and I probably won't update before then so Happy Early Birthday To Jonny!!! <3
